Helping the Brain Return to Balance

Living Fully offers calm, supportive NeurOptimal® neurofeedback sessions in North-East Melbourne for children and adults seeking a gentle, non-invasive approach to nervous system wellbeing.

There are times when the brain and nervous system can begin to carry more than they need to — stress, overwhelm, disrupted sleep, difficulty settling, or patterns that no longer feel supportive.

NeurOptimal® neurofeedback offers the brain an opportunity to observe itself in real time and make its own natural adjustments toward greater balance and flexibility.

A Gentle Approach to Neurofeedback

NeurOptimal®is a non-invasive form of neurofeedback that provides the brain with information about its own activity as it happens.

Rather than directing the brain or asking it to perform, the system simply reflects moments of change. With this awareness, the brain is able to reorganise itself in its own way and in its own time.

There is nothing you need to do during a session. Most people simply sit comfortably, relax, and watch a film while the session runs.

People come to neurofeedback for many different reasons. Some are looking for support with focus, emotional regulation or sleep. Others are simply seeking a calmer, more balanced nervous system.

Families often explore NeurOptimal® neurofeedback when a child is finding life difficult to navigate, whether that looks like overwhelm, emotional reactivity, school stress, neurodivergence, or difficulty settling.

NeurOptimal® may be explored as part of support for:

Stress and overwhelm
Focus and concentration
Emotional regulation
Sleep difficulties
Fatigue and nervous system strain
School-related stress
Neurodivergence and sensory sensitivity
General wellbeing and resilience

A Calm and Respectful Space for Children

Sessions are gentle and require no effort. Many children simply watch a movie while the system runs quietly in the background.

Kate’s work as both a counsellor and piano teacher brings a deep respect for each child’s individuality and pace.

The space is calm, unhurried, and designed to feel safe.
